I It's ease of use! I picked it up from 1.75 without any problem. I've tried demos of higher end packages and didn't know where to start (not having a manual doesn't help though).

I'm working on a short animation using 2.5.3 of some sort of space story just to see if I can (and to test the rendering power of my new G4 (400)) It's going to take several months to do as I've not got much spare time. I've already done an animation a few years ago using 1.75 and Bryce 3 (on the website) but I animated it in Bryce as I couldn't get the scenery into Strata. ..Oh yes, I also don't like tomato's!

Easy learning curve

I'm self-taught on Strata and am relatively new to it -- I've only been working with it for a little over a year. Before coming to use Strata on my new (or at the time new) G4, I was using Lightwave to animate with on an Amiga Video Toaster. It would do some nice things but I much prefer using Strata 3D Pro. Thanks to everyone on the list -- like I said, I'm a lurker and I'm self-taught and I've learned a lot from the discussions on the list. Thanks again!
